
New Winter Storm Warning, Weather Advisories Now Issued In Minnesota
Last week, parts of Minnesota and Wisconsin were faced with Winter Storm Warnings and Blizzard Warnings as a dangerous winter storm made its way through the area, reminding everyone that winter was still very much here.
Now, another winter storm is impacting some of the same areas and, although it's not as widespread as last week's storm, the National Weather Service did issue a Winter Storm Warning, along with two Winter Weather Advisories.

Winter Storm Warning
There is currently one Winter Storm Warning associated with this storm, and it's for the city of Grand Marais.
Travel is not advised, but if you must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food, and water in
your vehicle in case of an emergency. Call 511 or visit www.511mn.org for Minnesota road information.
- What: Heavy snow expected. Total snow accumulations between 5 and 8 inches.
- Where: Southern Cook County. This includes the Tribal Lands of the Grand Portage Reservation.
- When: From midnight tonight to 3 PM CST Tuesday, February 24.
- Impacts: Travel could be very difficult. The hazardous conditions could impact the Tuesday morning commute.
- Additional Details: While snowfall rates will be heavy at times, snow consistency will not be as dense as last week`s snow.
Winter Weather Advisory #1
This is for Northern Cook and Lake County, including the city of Isabella.
- What: Snow expected. Total snow accumulations between 3 and 5 inches.
- Where: Northern Cook and Lake County. This also includes the Boundary Waters eastern and central areas.
- When: From midnight tonight to 3 PM CST Tuesday, February 24.
- Impacts: Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact the Tuesday morning commute.

Winter Weather Advisory #2
This includes the cities of Two Harbors and Silver Bay.
- What: Snow expected. Total snow accumulations between 2 and 4 inches.
- Where: Southern Lake County.
- When: From midnight tonight to 3 PM CST Tuesday, February 24.
- Impacts: Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact the Tuesday morning commute.
