One lucky person from Wisconsin is a lot richer as of this week.

According to multiple news outlets, the winning ticket for the $768 million dollar Powerball jackpot has been sold in Wisconsin. The lucky man or woman has not come forward publicly since the news broke Wednesday night (March 27th).

Having a winning Powerball ticket sold in Wisconsin is crazy enough but to make things even crazier, this is the third largest jackpot in US lottery history.

The last drawing was near the end of last December and the jackpot has continued to climb since.

The Northland seems to be a hot spot for lottery winners. Over the past year, several residents have won jackpots, including a few in Carlton and Duluth. A million dollar Powerball ticket sold in Superior just a few short months ago, too.

Want to test your luck next time around? This jackpot's winning numbers were 16, 20, 37, 44, 62 and a Powerball number of 12.

You can test your luck but be aware, the chances of winning are pretty much zero. In fact, you're more likely to win an Oscar or suffer death by asteroid than cash in on the big prize.

Congratulations, whoever you are!
