Spoooooky! Alien and / or UFO sightings are nothing new in the Northland. We have had lots of reports of such sightings in the area but it seems like there hasn't been one for awhile.

That got me thinking - when was the last time there was an alien or UFO sighting in Minnesota as a whole? To find that answer, I turned to the National UFO Reporting Center. They track supernatural sightings and then categorize the sightings by state and shape.

So when was it? According to the National UFO Reporting Center, the last time there was an alien sighting in Minnesota was near the end of 2020. The exact date of the reported sighting is December 28th.

The UFO was spotted in Oronoco, Minnesota, which is located just about three hours from Duluth. The person that had the sighting said it was in the shape of a fireball and lasted about two hours. It is also reported that the sighting happened around 6:30 that evening.

According to the spotter, they were looking through a telescope when they spotted the strange object. They state that it could not have been a plane because it was moving in "a sporadic pattern from vertical to zig zag formations" and "hiding behind clouds as much as possible." Woah!

Like I said, we have seen a bunch of these types of sightings in the state and even right here in the Duluth and Superior area. In 2020 alone, there was a long list of sightings in the Northland.

In August of 2020, there was a mysterious fireball spotted in the Minnesota sky. At the time, many people first suspected it could be some kind of alien or UFO. I guess we will see what 2021 throws at us.
