Watch Fight Breakout Between A Man & Students During Minnesota Playoff Hockey Game
Minnesota High School Playoff Hockey has been in full swing with some exciting matchups. However, some games have gotten the best of some people.
A video has been tweeted out during the section 7AA quarterfinal game between the White Bear Lake Bears and the Tartan Titans. Apparently a fight broke out between White Bear Lake's student section and a Tartan parent.
It is not clear what started the fight. The video was tweeted out by what I'm assuming is a hockey dad when his Twitter bio says "Father of 2 #goaliedad Love hunting. MN Highschool Hockey Fanatic".
According to Zach Halverson from KFAN, the fight broke out near the end of the third period as he tweeted out:
There's been other incidents throughout this year's tournament as well including reports of parents and students climbing the glass in East Grand Forks and Thief River Falls.
The video is a little grainy, but you can hear a bunch of commotion including one woman screaming. There was a moment where the man and some students were being held back. The man then broke loose before getting taken to the ground where it looks like a student began punching the man several times before the video stopped. You can check out the video below:
White Bear Lake did end up winning the game 4-0 and will be moving on. Even in a tough loss in playoff hockey, there's no excuse to start fighting. Especially a grown man trying to take on high school students.
