We are down to the last two weeks of the regular season, and the playoff picture really comes down to the wire for the Vikings. The Green Bay Packers and The Minnesota Vikings face-off Monday Night in a huge prime time match up.

The Green Bay Packers are set up to win the NFC North if they can beat the Minnesota Vikings. If they tie with Minnesota, they still win the division. They are 11-3 currently heading into the last game of the regular season and have already at least clinched playoff birth.

The Vikings have multiple ways to get in to the playoffs with a wild card birth. If they beat the Packers, they are in. If they tie the Packers, they get in.  Even if they lose, if the Los Angeles Rams lose, they can still get in. So the Minnesota Vikings do have a chance to control their destiny with a win over the Green Bay Packers.

To win the NFC North, the Vikings need to beat Green Bay and the Chicago Bears, and then the Packers would need to lose to the Lions. It's an unlikely scenario. That means if the Vikings come in as a wild card they will start their playoffs on the road.

It's going to be a game to watch this Monday. And, if the Vikings want to make a playoff effort, they better beat the Packers and not just back into the playoffs.
