Damn, suck it 2020. Just when you thought the Vikings season couldn't be off to a worse start.

Minnesota Vikings head coach Mike Zimmer announced today that a torn pectoral muscle will keep LB Anthony Barr sidelined for the remainder of the 2020 season.

The injury happened during the 28-11 spanking that the Indianapolis Colts put on the Vikings yesterday to put the team 0-2 to start the season, not good.

"Anthony was our first draft pick that we had when we came here and integral part of our defense ... it's tearing him up inside that he won't be able to play," Zimmer said through a statement on Twitter.

Barr joins Danielle Hunter on injured reserve, Hunter is expected to return at some point though, but having two of the team's defensive stars on the sidelines surely won't help the team dig out of the current hole that they find themself in right now.
