Valentini’s Restaurant Relocating to Hermantown
Valentini's Vicino Lago will be vacating their primary location on London Road in Duluth and relocating their popular restaurant to Hermantown.
They shared the news and reasons for the move, as reported by Duluth News Tribune, on their Facebook page:
Longtime Northern Minnesota family-owned restaurant, Valentini’s, is expanding to Hermantown. The new Italian Bistro will provide the same signature house-made Italian food and personalized customer service, in a smaller setting. This summer Valentini’s will add a rustic wine bar, more dinner seating and an expanded catering kitchen onto the adjacent space to complete the project.
Owner Carol Valentini is grateful for Duluth’s support and patronage. As an active participant in the development of the Duluth Local Area Restaurant Association, a past Board Member of the Duluth Area Chamber of Commerce, and operating a successful restaurant, deli, catering business, and mobile food trailer in Duluth, the Valentini family has evolved with business trends. The expansion into Hermantown is the next step for the family’s entrepreneurial commitment.
“I am seeking more work-life balance, and when the opportunity to relocate into a smaller footprint presented itself in Hermantown, it made sense for my future plans,” states Valentini.
Valentini’s will continue to operate within the Duluth community with the Valentini’s Deli located in the Downtown Skywalk, catering business, and mobile food trailer.
The new location will occupy the space that had been the home of Dickey's Barbecue Pit.
