Two Harbors Winter Frolic is Fun for the Whole Family
Part of living up north is the seemingly never ending cold season we have. The older I get the more I am disliking the cold but regardless of the temps the Two Harbors area has an annual event that embraces the cold. The Two Harbors Winter Frolic is always the 2nd weekend in February and is two days full of outdoor type activities for people of all ages.
Friday night is when things get rolling with the chili cook off and curling challenge. All weekend the highlights include the medallion hunt, sliding hill and skating pond, and snow sculpture viewing and voting.
Saturday is full of events ranging from the pancake breakfast, vintage snowmobile ride, broomball, kayak races, a bonfire and even live music.
This is a great community event with something for everyone to take advantage of in this colder time of the year. Get more information at their website here.
