It's been a cold week, so close you eyes and picture yourself in the warm summer sun with a cold one in your hand while you watch the Minnesota Twins.  I've never been to Spring Training, but with each passing year I get closer and closer to making it happen.  If you're in the same boat, you can get your tickets starting tomorrow.

The Minnesota Twins announced that single-game tickets for the 2015 Spring Training campaign go on sale on Saturday, Jan. 10 at 8 a.m. online at twinsbaseball.com or by calling 1-800-33-TWINS (800-338-9467).

I took the liberty of checking Travelocity.com for airfare and you could fly from Minneapolis to Fort Myers, Florida for as little as $357 round trip.  You'll also get to see nice changes to the facility.

For the first time, fans attending Spring Training in 2015 will be able to experience the completed upgrades to the CenturyLink Sports Complex. Upgrades include substantial changes to Hammond Stadium including expanded concourses, new concessions and restrooms, as well as an expansive multi-level team store. Additional renovations include upgraded premium seating, new suites with improved views, additional spaces for group seating, a press box renovation and clubhouse expansion, further enhancing the experience for visitors and players alike.

Twins pitchers and catchers are scheduled to report on Sunday, Feb. 22, with their first workout slated for Monday, Feb. 23. The balance of the squad is scheduled to report on Friday, Feb. 27, with full-squad workouts beginning on Saturday, Feb. 28.

Plan your trip now to see Paul Molitor lead the Twins as they play in weather much better than we'll have up here anytime soon.
