Tucker Beathard has found a new label home. After a short stint as an independent artist, Beathard announced on Tuesday (Jan. 15) that he's signed a new record deal with Warner Music Nashville.

The young singer spent two years on Big Machine Label Group's Dot Records, where he released his EP Fight Like Hell and his debut single "Rock On," which hit No. 2 on the Billboard Country Airplay charts in 2016. The singer and Big Machine parted ways with the label in 2017.

While working independently, Beathard released the first part of his debut double album Nobody's Everything in November of 2018. He's set to release the second half with Warner Music's support in 2019.

"It was really important to me during this album-making process that I didn't immediately rush into signing a record deal. With everything I've learned during this journey, I wanted to be sure whenever I add a new layer into the fold, it's the right fit and that it's always about the music," the singer reflects in a press release. "The first time I met with the team at Warner, I knew they were the right ones to help get more of my music out into the world."

Beathard is the son of hit songwriter Casey Beathard, who wrote hits like "Homeboy" by Eric Church and Kenny Chesney's "No Shoes, No Shirt, No Problems."

Upon the release of part one of Nobody's Everything, the younger Beathard described the project as a reflection of the personal struggles he's faced in recent years, with the second half having a lighter feeling than the first.

"I like to think of this first nine as darker — kind of like a journey through a darker place and wanting to get out. I think the second half is kind of lighter side," he described to Taste of Country. "Not lighter as in the music — it rocks harder than the first half — but it's a lighter ... like a fun light at the end of the tunnel kind of thing."
