Think of the restaurants, diners, dives, or bars that have had that favorite menu item of yours. It's the one that you can't get anywhere else. Some may come close, but it's never as good. You may even try to make it yourself at home to only fail. That's how I feel about my favorite omelet. Even after I got a Blackstone Griddle and tried myself I still couldn't come close.
I'm talking about my favorite breakfast on this planet. It's the hash brown omelet at The Kitchen in North End Superior, Wisconsin. It's simple, but delicious at the same time. It's just eggs, cheese, and ham rolled up in hash browns. It has your choice of toast on the side, too. I always order some links to go along with it.
They were doing these hash brown omelets way before they were a common thing on Youtube and Tik Tok Videos. Like I said, I've tried doing it on my Blackstone and I can get close, but not as good as theirs. I don't know what their secret is. Probably butter and lots of it?
If hash brown omelets aren't your thing, they've got plenty of other good dishes. In fact, I don't think I've had something there that I didn't like.
