One of Superior's oldest restaurants is looking for a new owner and someone to carry on the traditions. The Kitchen restaurant has such a loyal customer base that every time you drive by, the parking lot is packed. Good food, affordable prices, and a classic interior make The Kitchen a must-visit breakfast and lunch spot.

Owner Ed Flood posted the announcement on Facebook on March 29th that the restaurant was listed for sale earlier this spring. He said they will keep going on and continuing to serve customers until a new owner takes over after owning The Kitchen for the last 20 years. They are hopeful someone will continue to operate The Kitchen and keep the tradition going strong.

Some might worry about the upcoming bridge construction project hurting business because of losing a bridge connection to Minnesota for several years. But the broker makes a good point: there will be tons of workers coming to build the bridge. If there was ever a blue-collar place to grab breakfast, this is it.

Hopefully, someone will step up and keep this restaurant going as it has for over the last 50 years. It's too much a part of Superior to let it go.
