So it's been about 10 years since the last time I got strep throat. Back then, all I needed to do was drop my drawers and take a shot of penicillin in the rear. With insurance providers and the entire health care system screwing over their customers, that's too expensive for my insurance plan. So I was prescribed antibiotics in the pill form. And when I finally got my prescription I was shocked and seeing how freaking large these pills are.

Keep in mind, I went to the doctor because every time I try to swallow it feels like a thousands razors are cutting the inside of my throat. I couldn't eat, drinking just about anything was excruciating. Now I'm suppose to swallow this football?

Yes, I may be exaggerating a little, and luckily the medicine is available and it worked pretty fast. In about a day an a half I already felt better. I just think it's a bit ironic that this is how they treat strep throat.
