The nominations for the 83rd Academy Awards were officially announced this morning.

The Weinstein Co's "The King's Speech" leads the race for the 83rd Academy Awards with 12 nominations, including best picture, directing, original screenplay and actor for Colin Firth.

Fox Searchlight's "127 Hours," Searchlight's "Black Swan," Paramount-Relativity's "The Fighter," Warner Bros.' "Inception," Focus Features' "The Kids Are All Right," Sony's "The Social Network," Disney-Pixar's "Toy Story 3," Par's "True Grit," and Roadside Attractions' "Winter's Bone" round out the nine other films that will compete for the top prize.

The 10 films nominated for the top prize are:

  1. The Kings Speech
  2. The Kid's Are Alright
  3. Inception
  4. The Fighter
  5. Black Swan
  6. 127 Hours
  7. The Social Network
  8. Toy Story 3
  9. True Grit
  10. Winters Bone
