It looks like Halloween will go on in the Northland! Another haunted attraction has announced they are going to be open this year, despite the pandemic.

The Haunted Forest is still on for 2020. Organizers of the event announced this news on their Facebook page recently, writing that they are in the process of getting things ready for the attraction and setting up all of the different haunted scenes. Spooky!

As expected, there will be special COVID-19 guidelines and policies in place to ensure the safety of everyone that attends. According to their post, attendees will be brought to the trail on hay rides as always. However, everyone will be socially distanced. Organizers also note that the entire attraction is outside.

As always, the Haunted Forest is giving back to the community with this event. This year, proceeds will go to families hurting due to COVID-19. You are asked to bring one non-perishable food item in exchange for one dollar off your entry.

The event kicks off on Friday, October 9th and continues through Halloween evening. It will take place every Friday and Saturday in between from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. Tickets cost twelve bucks for adults and six bucks for kids ten and under.

I went last year and it was amazing and super scary! There was everything from clowns to zombies to every other monster you can imagine. There was also hot chocolate and treats located at the end of the attraction as well.

The Haunted Forest is located at 7187 Saginaw Road. See you there!
