Chester Bowl will come alive this Saturday for the 36th Annual Fall Fest from 9:30am-4:30pm. The entire event takes place outdoors but organizers are encouraging everyone who attends to practice safe social distancing and to wear masks regardless of their vaccination status.

This is a fantastic event for the entire family and will all the different vendors available you might even be able to get a jump start on some holiday shopping. With over 130 vendors on site selling local and handmade items you will also be supporting some local businesses along with a farmers market, around a dozen food vendors and activities for the entire family to participate in.

The Chester Bowl Improvement Club will be on sight selling branded gear and will have information about all the seasonal programming. Organizers are suggesting a donation of $5 per person and $10 per family. Donations help support Chester Park program scholarships for kids whose families need some financial support so they can participate in the winter skiing and snowboard program and/or summer camp. Donations at Fall Fest in 2019 helped raise over $10,000 for the scholarship program.

Parking as always is a major issue so it is highly recommended that people walk to Chester Park, bike or take shuttles. The 3 shuttle buses are FREE and will run continuously from the University of Minnesota Duluth Parking Lot Bat the intersection of College Street and University Drive.

Hopefully they will get a great turnout this year as I believe many people are so looking forward to being able to leave the house and do things as a family and with friends too, plus it is for a great cause and should be a fun day as well. For more information on the Fall Fest Click Here.
