Target Pulls Adrian Peterson Merchandise – Cart Full of Jerseys Removed From Sales Floor

The Adrian Peterson fallout continues, today Target removed all of his merchandise from store shelves and from Target.com.

This photo shows a cart full of brand new Adrian Peterson jerseys that would normally be flying off the shelves at this point in a new season. Instead they are being removed and presumably stored for a time when Peterson could return, even though I'm not sure how many people would buy one at that point either.

Nike and Castrol Oil both suspended their contracts with the former league MVP today as well after the Vikings placed Adrian on the commissioner's exempt list less than 24 hours ago.
