Every September 11th since 2001, we remember the horrific terrorist attack on the World Trade Center, Pentagon, and the plane that went down in Pennsylvania.  Some people believe we should move on.  Literally we get complaints sometimes when we play patriotic music to remember, saying "when can we move on and not make a big deal about it every year?"

Tonight President Obama took to the national airwaves for a rare prime-time address to describe what America's response would be to the Islamic State (aka ISIL or ISIS), the terrorist group that has taken over parts of Syria and Iraq, and also beheaded two American journalists.

We end one war, and we may be headed for another.  Let's hope cooler heads prevail.  World politics can be confusing, so I'll make this really simple: Iran has been working on developing nuclear technologies for quite a while.  They say it's not for weapons, the rest of the world says, "Yeah right...

Yes, a fraction of your money that you pay in taxes has gone directly into the pockets of the people our soldiers are fighting.  In this case, with the war in Afghanistan,  aid money the US government has paid to the community and governments ends up in Taliban hands. Aghanistan is a very corrupt country with many ties to the Taliban.  Is it time to pull our troops out?  Yes.
