throwback

My country throwback this week features a band had a lot going for them.  They had good songs, good looks and an early top 10 hit.  The fact that they aren't still putting out the hits shows how tough the music industry can be.

This weeks Throwback Song Of The Week takes me back to hanging out with my dad growing up.  He introduced me to all kinds of music, including the music of Johnny Cash.

I know that with our regular playlist plus Chris Allen's Solid Gold Cafe', Cathy Kate's Solid Gold Saturday Morning and Pat Puchalla's Solid Gold Sunday Morning, we have terrific variety.  However, I thought it would be fun if each week I shared with you my favorite songs from the past.
