This weeks Throwback Song Of The Week takes me back to hanging out with my dad growing up.  He introduced me to all kinds of music, including the music of Johnny Cash.

There are obviously many classic Cash songs, but I've always liked 'A Boy Named Sue' because as a boy it made both me and my dad laugh together, which we've always done a lot.

"A Boy Named Sue" was originally a poem by Shel Silverstein, but Johnny Cash brought it worldwide popularity by putting it to music.  He was at the height of his popularity when he recorded the song live at California's San Quentin State Prison at a concert on February 24, 1969.

This song would go on to become a #1 hit for The Man In Black.
