Failure is not an option for Thor and his brother Loki in the latest international TV spot for 'Thor 2.' I'll admit I like a good super hero movie.  I really like The Dark Knight series and The Avengers.  I also enjoyed the individual movies each character made leading up to it.  The movie I had the lowest expectations for was the first Thor.  I never followed Thor much as a kid and didn't know how they'd make it interesting.

'Thor' continued to show its strength at the box office this weekend. The Marvel superhero flick, starring breakout hunk Chris Hemsworth, took in an estimated $34.5 million, bringing its 10-day total to $119.3 million. Overall, 'Thor' was down 48 percent from last weekend, according to EW.com.

It is the #1 movie in America and it's getting very good reviews.  I will see this movie, but I think the casting choice might be a distraction to the action.   Watch these Thor videos from Conan O'brien after the jump and see if you agree.

As expected, 'Thor' enjoyed a solid performance at the weekend box office. The superhero flick, which impressed most critics with its action-packed storyline and breakout performance by star Chris Hemsworth, took in an impressive $66 million, leaving the rest of the competition in the dust. Globally, the film has already grossed $242 million, according to Variety.
