Skiers across the Northland are getting excited to hit the slopes at Spirit Mountain this winter and they can expect to see special health protocols in place for the pandemic.
The annual Duluth National Snocross event Thanksgiving weekend usually brings people from all over to watch the exciting event at Spirit Mountain. This year that won't be happening.
Thirteen members of the public were appointed to the Spirit Mountain Task Force and they will be joined by two city councilors for a total of 15 voting members.
They're looking for financial solutions from Duluth business experts and residents who are passionate about the Spirit Mountain Recreation Area. Application deadline is July 8.
On Thanksgiving weekend, Spirit Mountain will once again host the Amsoil Duluth National Snocross and this year there are new discounted ticket packages.
