Emergency vehicles sirens have different sounds and require motorists to respond accordingly. Here's the difference.

It sounded like 'The Purge.' You would be playing with your friends and the town siren would wail. You'd drop what you were doing and run for home.

If you heard sirens on April 20th in the Duluth area, your ears weren't deceiving you. Here's why they were sounding.

The City of Cloquet always has public safety in mind (THANK YOU).  They have installed a new emergency siren at Braun Park in Cloquet.  If you live near the area of the park, you should be aware that they will be conducting monthly tests.

Even though I am sharing this information with you, I KNOW that when I hear the sirens blow to signify the start of the drill/test, I will wonder (usually out loud to myself), "what are those going off now for?"  You should know it's just a test, here is the schedule.
