This was the Miley that my daughter and I loved.  We watched the Hannah Montana show together all the time.  She dug Miley, I dug Billy Ray Cyrus.  She was sweet, cute and innocent and I was sad when they announced she wasn't going to be filming anymore episodes.  Kids grow up, I get that.  My daughter Kylee matured and so did Miley, I'm happy to say my daughter made the right choices.  Can't say

I remember thinking that whoever the girl was that got the chance to play Michael Jackson's girlfriend in Thriller was the luckiest girl EVER!  Years later, I STILL think she's a lucky girl!  Ola Ray is her name and she is celebrating her 53 birthday.  I'm sure this is her most memorable acting job, but she been in other movies you might recognize.

Dierks Bentley's new album is coming this fall.  He promises it will be a little "heavier, and moodier."   We also get a sneak peak at one of his new music videos for "I'll Hold On."

It's not everyday when you find a voice like Brett Eldredge.  If you've heard his hit single "Don't Ya," you've only seen part of his talent.  I don't think his current single showcases the vocal strength he has.  Want to be amazed, check out his "Couch Sessions."

I chose the Desert Rose Band as my Solid Gold Pick  of the Week the beginning of this month.  One of their songs you would be most familiar with is "Love Reunited".  It was a release from their the bands self-titled album in 1987.  The group had disbanded, but after their publicist read my blog, he contacted me and guess what?  They are back together for a reunion tour!!!!

It's been said that Hillary Scott really blossoms on Lady Antebellum's new single 'Downtown.' Vocally, she's loose and having fun, trading her serious side for a silly one for several minutes. The hilarious video for the crazy catchy song follows suit and finds Scott courting trouble as a leather-clad, eyeliner-smeared baddie, looking for a good time while battling the cops, played by her bandmate

Easton Corbin got super creative and had quite a bit of fun with his video for 'All Over the Road.' It's more like an extended theatrical trailer than it is an actual music video and it's hot, thanks to the long-legged, lollipop-licking vixen who courts trouble like it was her job. She brings Corbin along for the ride, somewhat against his will. Lucky him!

It's no shock that Blake Shelton's 'Sure Be Cool if You Did' video takes place at the local watering hole. Shelton makes no bones about his enjoyment of liquid refreshment. But this video and the song aren't about throwing 'em back and having a good time, or partying mindlessly while ignoring the prospect of hangovers. It's more thoughtful and contemplative.

Sticking with the theme of cold beers, Dierks Bentley released the music video for his new song 'Tip It on Back.' The song tells the story of a dying small town, and how residents can cope with the loss of their favorite businesses and homes by tipping back a beer. With images of for sale signs and happy families losing their property, the video runs deeper than a typical clip about beer drinking.
