I had a friend suggest that I try grilling a ham.  I had never even thought of it, but it's a nice change of pace for your late summer grilling.   In our house we grill several times a week, so by the time we get to August we are ready to change it up from burgers and brats.  The grilled ham was easy and didn't take all day.

It’s smack dab in the middle of grilling season and you have probably exhausted all your family favorites, steak, shrimp, chicken breasts and pork. I have seen lots of different recipes for tin foil dinners on the grill and have always wanted to try one while we were camping. This is the recipe we chose this past weekend. It was easy and I used pre-cooked grilled chicken for ease and food safety.

I've always preferred the taste of charcoal grilling preferred to gas grilling.  I think most people agree that it just tastes better.   But what about hickory charcoal?

This last weekend we decided to grill up some brats while fishing.  I thought I would try the mini grill I got from work.  We gave away quite a few of them a couple years ago, and I thought I would try mine.   I now recommend that you not use them for the winter, because we had to get very creative to make it work.
