The race will kick off at the Grandma's Marathon offices in Canal Park.

Superior has a variety of unique consignment, antique, and second hand stores.  The Superior BID is encouraging consumers to shop at these businesses on this Saturday, April 22nd, to honor Earth Day.

Now that the snow has melted, trash is washing off streets, down storm drains and heading towards Lake Superior.  Plastic and trash continually pollute Lake Superior, so the Lake Superior National Estuarine Research Reserve and the Environmental Services Division of Public Works for the City of Superior are seeking volunteers Saturday to help protect the great lake.

From helping to clean trash and debris so it doesn't end up in our rivers, streams and lakes to partying for the planet at the Lake Superior Zoo.  There's a lot you can do to help out the environment, educate your family and celebrate Earth Day 2016 together.
