Here's how you can give back this year.

Our Animal Allies Pet of the Week is a Miniature Pinscher or Min-Pin.  He is considered a Senior (I feel your pain, Earl Yippington) at 11 years old.  He came to Animal Allies as a stray and now wants you as a roommate. Animal Allies has taken care of micro-chipping, vaccinating and Earl Yippington is neutered.  He's ready to be loved, fed and snuggled.

Meet Panther, he is Animal Allies Pet of the Week.  He is considered a Senior (I feel your pain, Panther) at 19 years old.  He is a black domestic short haired cat and hoping you have a big heart and a forever home.  Animal Allies has taken care of micro-chipping, vaccinating and Panther is neutered.  He's ready to be loved, fed and snuggled.

The Northland Subway Restaurants have the families that benefit from the Second Harvest Northern Lakes Food Bank.  Today is "Feed The Northland" with area Subways, you can help and get a little something for yourself in the process.

This weekend is Halloween and before we know it we'll be gathering at the Thanksgiving table and celebrating Christmas with family and friends.  THIS is the time we should be thinking about stocking our local food shelf and that's exactly what the Northland Subway Restaurants will be doing on Thursday, October 29.  You can help!

Cirque du Soleil Dralion is SO cool.  The story that is told is compelling, the performers are unbelievably talented and the make-up and costumes are jaw dropping.  But today, I received information that makes Cirque du Soleil Dralion so much MOREcool on a whole different level.

B105 on air personalities delivered toys to the Union Gospel Mission,  that they and B105 listeners had donated during a Caring Christmas promotion. 15 boxes filled with books, dolls, action figures, electronics and other misc. toys will be distributed to local families who don't have enough to help children have a Merry Christmas.

Clean out your closet while you support Soles4Soles!  If you plan on coming to the Grandma's Marathon, Essentia Fitness & Health Expo on Thursday, June 16 or Friday, June 17 at the DECC, bring a pair or several to donate.
