Video and picture of the deer stranded went around social media yesterday afternoon, and authorities were able to respond and rescue the deer by going out to it with a small boat.

A Wisconsin hunter spent 5 years trying to get a huge buck that lingered in Chippewa County, last weekend he finally shot the 19 point buck only to get death threats after posting his exciting moment on Facebook.

The Minnesota DNR has been working on a new deer management plan for the state, and they have unveiled the plan. Along with that, they also have introduced the zone regulations for the upcoming season.

The MN DNR is now implementing the Minnesota Draft Deer Management Plan. The goal of the plan is to get more citizen involvement in the population management.

This dash cam video shows a squad car responding to a call in Cambridge MN when it hits a deer at over 100MPH. Luckily the deputy is ok. The deer is a different story.

We've been writing a lot about taking fall road trips to festivals and to enjoy the beautiful colors.  While it is a terrific idea, it's also the beginning of the time of year when the most deer-vehicle crashes take place

There's been talk about a bill introduced that would allow deer hunters to wear blaze pink in Wisconsin instead of blaze orange.   They're hoping that this will get more people (probably women) into hunting.  Sadly, it will be tough to get more people excited about hunting with a bucks only harvest.
