Chris Kroeze, last season's runner up on The Voice and local musician has released a new single called "Better On A Boat."

Chris Kroeze, from Barron Wisconsin and runner up for NBC's 'The Voice', will be opening for 38 Special at Wessman Arena. The concert will take place May 10th, and tickets are already on sale.

It'll be the Wisconsinite's first time releasing music since being on Team Blake.

Chris Kroeze who is from Barron, Wisconsin and also was the runner up in this years 'The Voice' will be performing some shows in Minnesota.

Chris Kroeze survived a tough elimination round last night as half of the contestants were cut ahead of the finale next week.

The Barron, Wisconsin Native performed Garth's 'Calling Baton Rouge' on Monday night, and his performance was good enough to keep him in the safe group at #6.
