Scotty McCreery will be making a stop this summer in the Duluth area for a show this summer.

It's spring, which means bears are active and roaming around and interactions with people is inevitable.

While Duluth is situated in the rugged northwoods of Northern Minnesota, seeing a larger wild animal other than a deer in town is still an attention-getting spectacle for most.

If may not fee like it, but spring is here and if you live anywhere near a bear habitat, the Minnesota DNR reminds you to be aware of bears in the area and to be aware of ways to help prevent one coming around your house.

Well, here's something you don't see everyday and I bet it's the last thing this guy expected to do on this day.

Canadian conservation officers euthanized a black bear that ate the remains of a convicted murderer.  The man was on parole for a 1994 conviction of murder where he and two other co defendants were found guilty for killing a man accused of sexually assaulting a family member.  We'll give the guy that at least.  Maybe he didn't deserve to be eaten by a bear after all.
