A road trip to Bayfield, Wisconsin is always a beautiful drive and this weekend there's a perfect reason to make the trip to the south shore of Lake Superior.

Last week during the "We Need More Cowbell" competition to raise money for the Northern Lights Foundation, I had the pleasure of introducing Anna Tanski, President and CEO of Visit Duluth.  In her introduction we encouraged the guests to vote Duluth to victory for "Greatest Midwest Town".  Let's do this!

Although it will be unseasonably warm on Saturday, you can still get into the holiday spirit by taking advantage of nice weather and taking a road trip to Bayfield, Wisconsin for the Holiday Spirit Gallery Tour.

The Bayfield County Sheriff's Department had been asking for the public's help to locate to missing teens.  UPDATE:  They have been found.

The Bayfield County Fair starts Thursday, and there are a lot of fun things to do right through Sunday, including The Lost Trailers concert on Saturday night.

The Bayfield County Fair gets underway one week from today on August 22nd.  This year, they're bringing in national recording artists The Lost Trailers and if you go you could be in their next video.

It's been a tragic year for the Bayfield, Wisconsin area this winter.  Less than a month ago professional angler Jim Hudson died after his snowmobile broke through the ice.  Now it has been confirmed that two more men have died near Madeline island after their snowmobile went through the ice Wednesday night.  Also the ice road between Bayfield and Madeline Island has had its share of complications
