Last week during the "We Need More Cowbell" competition to raise money for the Northern Lights Foundation, I had the pleasure of introducing Anna Tanski, President and CEO of Visit Duluth.  In her introduction we encouraged the guests to vote Duluth to victory for "Greatest Midwest Town".  Let's do this!

Anna Tanski and the Go-Go's did a fantastic job on stage ringing cowbell to raise money for families in the Northland that have children that are experiencing catastrophic disease or illnesses!  Now, Anna and her staff at Visit Duluth are busy getting the word out that we need YOUR vote.

It is a contest through the magazine, Midwest Living.  They are looking to find the best town in the Midwest and not one, but two Northland towns are vying for the title.

There are 12 towns on the list and both Duluth and Bayfield are up for this years chance to win the top honors. You can visit the Midwest Living website and vote once a day through  February 27.  Put a reminder in your phone or on your calendar to vote every day and share this with your friends and family so we can catapult the City of Duluth to the top (and win another top honor)!

Who are we up against?

Medora, North Dakota
Decorah, Iowa
Rapid City, South Dakota
Nebraska City, Nebraska
Traverse City, Michigan
Columbus, Indiana
Galena, Illinois
Lawrence, Kansas
Branson, Missouri
Put-in-Bay, Ohio
