
Support Special Olympics In Duluth – Attend The Annual Law Enforcement Torch Run Today
The Annual Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics Northeast Leg starts today Friday, June 21, at 9am from the steps of City Hall on Priley Drive. “The “Flame of Hope” torch from there to Boy Scout Landing in Gary New Duluth. The Torch Run is an event to raise awareness for the Special Olympics and their mission to work with special needs athletes around the world. The local run is held in conjunction with other runs around the state and culminates with the torch being passed to an athlete who will use it to start the official flame signifying the beginning of the Special Olympic Summer Games in Stillwater.
Please arrive early and join the Minnesota Chiefs of Police Association, Minnesota F.O.P. and the Minnesota State Patrol Troopers Association as they raise awareness of Special Olympics!
