Police Training At Superior High School – August 12

Officials with the Superior Police Department have alerted the general public about some training that they'll be doing at the Superior Senior High School the afternoon of Monday, August 12.  While the training will be held inside the building, the session will bring with it a number of police squads and vehicles that will be visible outside of the building; the police want to make sure that everyone knows that this is a scheduled event that is taking place.

The training will run from 12:00 Noon until about 5:00 PM.

As part of the training, Superior Police Department officers will be utilizing the indoor pool on site at the high school for their exercises and practices.

Community members should be alert that this is part of a previously-scheduled training and that there isn't an actual emergency situation occurring.  To help communicate the practice session, the Superior Senior High School administration has sent out an email to their distribution list.
