Starting Today, You’ll Need A Digital Box For Each TV if You Have Charter Cable
If you're a Charter cable TV customer, you'll now need a digital box for each TV in your home. Charter has gone all digital, meaning your TV won't work anymore if you plugged the cable directly into it.
If you're an existing customer that missed out on getting a box, you can call 1-877-958-7119. The boxes are free for 1 year, then after that they will charge you per box $6.99 a month. If it's a DVR box, it will be $9.99 a month per box. (I got these figures from charter customer service yesterday.)
