St. Louis Cty Launches COVID-19 Info Website + Phone Line

Accurate, up-to-date information from local authorities about COVID-19 is now available online and via the telephone.  The St. Louis County Public Health department has launched an information phone line and web page to help people obtain the information they're looking for from local officials.

Northlanders looking for information and resources are directed to call 218-625-3600 - weekdays, between 8:00 AM and 4:30 PM; public health officials will answer and return calls that are received.  You can also look at the specific page set up on the counties website:  stlouiscountymn.gov/covid19.

According to St. Louis County Public Health Division Director Amy Westbrook, the resources will help provide access to credible resource information:   "We want people to be informed so they can make educated decisions about how best to prepare and protect themselves and those around them.  While COVID-19 is a new virus, and there are many unknowns, it is not a reason to panic."

According to the county, there are no confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Minnesota to date.  However, the situation has been changing rapidly and Public Health wants to ensure the most-accurate information is readily available.
