Nothing is worse than a crimp in your day that will affect the way you look as you head to work.  Fortunately, we are able to warn you of this disruption in water service so you can prepare and hopefully most people will have already left for work before the repair begins in the Kenwood neighborhood.

The City of Duluth Public Works and Utilities department are looking to keep families safe by replacing an inoperable fire hydrant located on North Road in the upper Kenwood neighborhood of Duluth.

The work is scheduled to take place tomorrow,  Wednesday January 14, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.  The water to the hydrant will need to be shut off during the repair time. Homes that are located west of Kenwood Ave along Howard Gnesen Road, McFarlane Road, Northridge Drive, Northridge Lane, Linzie Road, Middle Lane, North Road, and Norton Road will be the ones affected during the shut off.

The City apologizes for any inconvenience.
