It's a brand new month and the temps are starting to drop in the Twin Ports.  There is still plenty to do outside, but it's the time of year when 40 degrees and raining might hinder most of that.  There is an option for something fun to do with the whole family for minimal or no cost every Wednesday night.  You can get some exercise and help the kids burn off energy skating at World of Wheels Skate Center in Superior.

In honor of October being National Roller Skating Month, they will feature free admission every Wednesday from 5:00PM-7:15PM.  So if you and the family have your own skates, it's free.  If you do need some rentals though there is still a small fee with Quad Skates being $4.00, Inline Skates just $5.00, and Skate Mate Helpers at $5.00.

Of course they will have the music cranked for skating to, and the Cafe will be open if you want to snag some snacks.  Showing up and renting some skates and maybe buying something to chow on is a great way to help support a local business.  The global pandemic has had an impact on many, including locally owned venues, so even a little support can help them out.  World of Wheels Skate Center is located at 1218 Oakes Avenue, and you can get more information on everything else they have going on for National Roller Skate Month HERE.
