‘Simpsons’ Gives Sean Spicer a Grisly End With Trump 100-Day Gag
Boy, we thought SNL had it out for Sean Spicer. The Simpsons took aim at a monster of its own making with a new clip grading Trump’s first 100 days in office, but it’s Ol’ Spicey who really takes the heat. See for yourself in a new gag from the series.
You might want to watch for yourself first (and avert the eyes of small children), but suffice to say, it’s Press Secretary Sean Spicer who gets the most collar-tugging visual with a trip through the Trump White House. Hair jokes are of course fair game, but there will be true hell to pay if they touch a hair on Supreme Court judge Ruth Bader Ginsburg’s little head.
In any case, this is far from the first shot Season 28 has taken at the Trump Administration, considering writers predicted such an absurd development nearly two decades ago. One recent episode saw Mr. Burns staging his own Trump-style university, while similar shorts have taken aim at the Tweeter-in-Chief’s loose thumbs.
Season 28 will resume this coming Sunday with “Looking for Mr. Goodbart,” so stay tuned. The Simpsons isn’t going anywhere.
