Sephora Opening Second Store Location In Duluth
A new makeup store is headed our way and it will be open very, very soon.
Makeup lovers will know which store I am talking about: Sephora! The store is for everyone who loves makeup, hair care and beauty products. While there are locations nationwide and in Minnesota, it will be only the second location in Duluth.
As mentioned, Sephora sells makeup products, beauty products, hair care and fragrances. It is similar to an Ulta store. This location will be one of two, as there is already a Sephora location inside JCPenney at the Miller Hill Mall.
However, according to The Development Tracker of Duluth, that Sephora location may faze out as the company focuses on new partnerships. At this time, there is no word on when or if the first location will close inside the mall. It is still listed on the mall's website.
Either way, we are going to be getting our second Sephora location and very soon. The new Sephora location will open on Friday, August 20th. It will not be located in a standalone store but rather, inside the Kohl's store near the mall.
This is all part of a new partnership, says the Development Tracker of Duluth. Sephora has teamed up with Kohl's for the new partnership and what is really cool is that Duluth will be one of the first of these stores to open under the new partnership. Another Minnesota location, in Apple Valley, is planned for this year as well.
We can expect over eight-hundred new Sephora locations to open inside Kohl's store as the partnership rolls out over the next few years. The new Sephora stores will completely replace the beauty department inside Kohl's stores.
The new Sephora additions will be located near the front of the stores and like regular standalone stores, will have hundreds of brands and products to choose from. I think this is an awesome addition to Kohl's stores!
Kohl's is located at 2115 Miller Trunk Highway in Duluth. The store is open everyday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday is the exception, with the store opening an hour earlier than any other day. The new partnership has already been rolled out on the Kohl's website so you can start to browse before the store opens up later in August.
There have been a lot of new additions to the area lately. Recently, a bunch of new places opened inside the Miller Hill Mall, including a new sushi restaurant located in the food court. A mini donut and waffle shop also opened in the mall. Delicious!
The most exciting new addition? For a Halloween lover like me, a Spirit Halloween store! Last year, the store opened in the old Shopko location on Central Entrance. This year, it will be opening in the Miller Hill Mall with an opening date to be determined.
