There's a new restaurant serving Superior, and it's opening for regular hours this week. For years Nemadji Golf Course has offered a limited menu the course that would include hot dogs or quick turn meals. Now, the golf course is expanding its restaurant to be a full-service venue with a full menu.

Kemper Sports took over managing the course for the last couple of seasons. They've made some changes along the way. One of the things they felt like they could offer people was a full-service restaurant at the clubhouse.

Trevor DeRoche, Sales & Marketing Director at Nemadji Golf Course said they've invested time and money into making this restaurant ready. I asked what they've had to do to get ready and what made them decide to expand their business model.

The past year we have been working to improve the food/restaurant side of the course. With many updates to the kitchen/bar, hiring a new head chef and a new food & bev manager, we are now planning on having table side service all year long. We felt that it was a missed market and that with the right staffing and resources, The Greens View Grille could be a competitive standalone restaurant in the Superior area.

They've already been busy on weekends serving brunch. They just had a successful Easter Brunch with many customers.

The Greens View Grille is opening Wednesday, April 20 at 7 am. They'll be open until 7 pm, and they will still be offering their Sunday brunch from 9:30 am- 1 pm.

Trevor also says that they will still be offering 'golf course turn meals' at the Greens View Grille for golfers that want a quick bite.

The staff at the Greens View Grille is excited to provide a service that even nongolfers will come out and enjoy while offering more options to those who already golf at Nemadji.

This spring has been a colder, later start. Nemadji has once again opened up their driving range and hope to be opening the course in some capacity soon.
