Scarium At The Aquarium will be held at the Aquarium on October 27,28, and 29th from 4 pm until 7 pm. Kids (and adults) can dress up and explore the decorated Aquarium and Trick-Or-Treat among all the exhibits. The Aquarium is following safe distancing practices.

Here are some of the differences this year. Treats will not be handed out like last year, there will be Trick or Treat stations. They will hand out individually wrapped treats that are safely sanitizable. No eating or drinking will be permitted in the building but will be permitted outside at benches and picnic tables.

In previous years there were in-person crafts, projects, and games. This year Scarium at the Aquarium will be giving things to families to enjoy at home.

The Aquarium will also follow the Minnesota State-mandated mask-wearing by challenging people to incorporate their mask into their costume.

Here are the rules for mask-wearing:

Everyone ages 3 and up must wear a mask unless unable to due to a disability. We are happy to accommodate these medical considerations. Costume masks do not qualify as face coverings for the purposes of reducing viral transmission.

The Cost for the night:

  • Adults: $15.00
  • Youth age 13 – 17 $12.00
  • Children age 3 – 12  Free
  • Children under 2: Free
  • Aquarium Members:  Free

The Aquarium is asking that you pre-register so that they can limit the amount of people in the building, that is why they are offering three days of the event. The tickets go on sale on September 27th.
