Sam Hunt Headlining Summer Show In Minnesota
Another big concert is headed our way this summer! Sam Hunt is the latest country star to announce a massive concert in Minnesota.
We've had many concert announcements as of late. Mostly recently, Cole Swindell announced a headlining tour that will take him to Mankato, a few hours from Duluth. That tour includes newcomer Ashley Cooke and Travis Denning and takes place in March.
Of course, Jake Owen will be in Duluth as well in just a few short months! He is headlining Bayfront Country Jam this summer along with newcomer Tyler Rich. That show will take place on Friday, July 1st at Bayfront Festival Park.
Other stars coming to Minnesota over the next few months include Walker Hayes, Kane Brown, Tim McGraw, among many others. It is going to be an exciting year full of live music.
Now, Sam Hunt is adding his name to that list, announcing a big show in Minnesota this summer. He will be headlining a show at Treasure Island Resort & Casino on Friday, July 8th. Ryan Hurd will be the opening act.
Sam hasn't really been touring or out much over the past few years so this is your chance to see him and make up for lost time! The show will be outdoors at the Treasure Island Amphitheater.
Tickets are not yet on sale but prices are available. General admission tickets will be available for $42.50 with reserved seating available for just $57 dollars. This does not include taxes and fees, which are likely when purchasing your tickets.
Treasure Island is located about three hours from Duluth in Welch, Minnesota. Luke Bryan played the venue in September of 2021 to rave reviews. It is a great venue for seeing your favorite country star because there isn't a bad seat or spot to watch the show.
The venue holds about 15,000 people, according to the Star Tribune. There is nothing better than an outside show in Minnesota!
Like I said, there are many big concerts coming to Minnesota this year. Keith Urban will be playing a show at the Xcel Energy Center near the end of 2022 with Ingrid Andress. That show will take place in November.
