Sam Hunt continues to break records with his latest single, "Body Like a Back Road." The lead single off his forthcoming sophomore album remains at No. 1 on the country radio airplay charts for the third week in a row.

“Body Like a Back Road” shot to the top position only 12 weeks after its chart debut. The song is also currently the most streamed country song of 2017 — it broke the Single Week Country Song Streaming record with over 11.8 million weekly streams. Hunt co-wrote "Body Like a Back Road" with Zach Crowell, Shane McAnally and Josh Osborne.

Hunt’s TBA new album will be the follow-up to his debut release, Montevallo. Hunt has previously said he plans to release new music as singles not long after the songs wrap in the studio. As a result, fans can expect to hear new material from Hunt before an official album release.

“I try to make music that’s relevant to my life and relatable to the culture I live in,” the country superstar tells Billboard. “Putting out music as it’s made, versus holding it until an album’s finished, allows me to be more timely and maintain balance.”

Hunt has a busy year ahead of him, as he is set to kick off a headlining tour, the 15 in a 30 Tour, with special guests Maren Morris, Chris Janson and Ryan Follese. The tour begins on June 1 in Cleveland, Ohio.
