Reba McEntire is the latest country star to postpone her major tour due to COVID-19 coronavirus. This includes her previously scheduled tour stop at the Xcel Energy Center on May 7th.

The new date for the show will be Thursday, July 23rd. Tickets that have already been purchased will be honored for the new show date. Doors for the show will open at 7 p.m. and it will start at 8 p.m.

There is no word on whether Caylee Hammack will open the tour as was originally planned. We will keep you updated on this.

In a statement on the Xcel Energy Center's website, Reba tells fans to stay safe and take care of themselves and those they love. The tour was originally set to kick off next weekend.

Reba is just one of many country stars who have had to postpone shows across the country and right here in Minnesota. Dan + Shay have postponed their entire arena tour until later this year, which included a stop in Minneapolis. Kenny Chesney is working on finding a new date for his U.S. Bank Stadium show originally set for May 2nd and Jason Aldean had to pull out from a show at the Xcel scheduled for March 14th, postponing to later this year.
