Police Will Give You $1 If You Wear Your Seat Belt.

Don't get excited!!! You have to live in Maryland. Police were out yesterday and gave a crisp new dollar bill to those that had seat belts on while police on route 301 made random stops. If you didn't have on your belt, you got a ticket.

Police also stood on a road and watched cars as they passed by. They handed out $1 bills to drivers were safely buckled.

Those caught riding without seat belts got educational materials and a fine.

The program is part of the Click It Or Ticket campaign that is running in Maryland and other states.
