Scammer Calling People Claiming To Fundraise for Superior Police

The Superior Police Department is warning citizens not to believe a fundraising phone call that has been reported. A scammer is calling residents claiming to be raising money for the Superior Police Department. The PD posted on Facebook to not give these people any money.

This is just another scam that is taking place. We were warned earlier this week about the one ring phone scam. That's why your phone only rings once, and then you call the number back. When you do you're charged for international calling.

Sadly the truth is, if you don't recognize the number, don't answer. If it's important they will leave a message. Stay on your toes!
