Online Questionnaire Helps People Decide If They Qualify For COVID-19 Tests
As the number and availability of COVID-19 tests continue to ramp up, many are wondering whether or not they should get tested. At the same time, there is a growing concern about the testing supply limitations. A new online questionnaire is making it easier for people to determine whether or not they meet the requirements that the Minnesota Department of Health has laid out for COVID-19 testing.
The online questionnaire was developed by St. Luke's to help people determine their status for themselves. The one-page survey asks the online participant a short variety of questions about their health. If a person answers "yes" to any of the questions, they qualify for testing. In addition to the new online questionnaire tool, St. Luke's has opened a drive-though tent at St. Luke's Respiratory Clinic. The tent is for outside orders, pre-op testing, and people who have been exposed to COVID-19 but are currently asymptomatic. In otheer words, this outside tent facility will act as a triage unit. Patients who have COVID-19 symptoms will be seen inside the clinic for high-quality evaluations to rule out other illnesses and will not be seen in the tent.
St. Luke's Respiratory Clinic is open seven days a week from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The drive-through COVID-19 testing tent will be staffed Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Similar to the other walk-in services offered at the clinic, no appointment is necessary at the drive-through COVID-19 testing tent. Additionally, St. Luke's is sharing the fact that their Miller Creek Medical Clinic Urgent Care is now open seven days a week at the same location and hours.
