Photos Capture Forgotten Moments Inside Duluth’s Miller Hill Mall

It's back-to-school time, which means getting a lot of school supplies and clothes for the kids. It's amazing how fast they grow out of things, but I do enjoy spending time with them doing some shopping and, as our tradition has been, getting lunch together.

As is likely the case every year, as we walk around the Miller Hill Mall in Duluth, I always tell them about what the mall looked like when I was a kid when I'd go see a movie there and camp out playing video games at Alladin's Castle.

The Miller Hill Mall opened in 1973 and there have been many changes, even in recent years. Gone are anchor stores like Montgomery Ward, Glass Block, and Sears, as well as countless others who have gone and been replaced with something else.

While they may be gone, they are not forgotten.
