We can expect mid-70s in the Twin Ports. The Iron Range will be even hotter, reaching temperatures in the low 80s. The North Shore will see upper sixties and low 70s so if you want a little reprieve, you know where to go.

Though it may be not be triple digit heat, the National Weather Service of Duluth says we will probably see big impacts from the heat. Prepare now: make sure you have fans in place, remain hydrated and monitor how you feel throughout the day.

They also mention that Lake Superior will still be cold despite the heat so do not jump in without thinking. I know people like to dip their toes in after a training run on the Lakewalk but maybe opt for a cold shower instead.
